A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Five years after the first film, a new kid, 17-year-old Jesse, moves into Nancy’s old house on Elm Street and Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) returns to the dreams of local teenagers. This time Freddy wants to possess Jesse so he can kill in the real world. Will Jesse ever be able to get Freddy’s soul out of his body? Maybe with the help of his new girlfriend, Lisa, and Nancy’s diary. This sequel doesn’t quite live up to the original, but is still entertaining. There are some pretty gory scenes including an exposed brain, someone being boiled alive and Freddy bursting through someone’s chest. -*Melissa Helwig
