Blade is called the day walker, the son of a woman that was bitten by a vampire, and has the attributes of a vampire like their strength. He also has the strong hunger to drink blood, but he controls it with a special serum. He doesn't identify with the vampires; on the contrary, he's on a mission to destroy them all because they killed his mother. Garlic, silver, and sunlight don't bother him. Expect some really baddazz swordplay in this movie with Wesley Snipes making it look as easy as baking a cake! The dude looked like he was in the best shape of his life for this one. Martial arts combined with vampires have been done before, but this movie captures all of it very well, with a stylish flair and a menace that can't be beat. Best Quote: DayWalker-"There are worse things out tonight then vampires." Dr. Karen Jenson-"Like what?" DayWalker-"Like me."
