Bride Of Frankenstein starts where Frankenstein ended with the destruction of the monster in the burning windmill. The monster lived as a result of falling into some water that was below the flooring of the windmill but not before being burned by the fire. He looked bad enough before but now becomes more hideous! He crawls out of the water, kills more people, and wanders the countryside frightening children and adults while maintaining a pretty fast shuffle. The monster learns a lot of new things in this film in addition to being faster, like how to smoke, drink booze, and appreciate music thanks to a blind old man. He's so lonely that having the monster stay with him is such a blessing to him he breaks down crying. The scenes with the blind man are heartbreaking. Meanwhile, a certain Dr. Pretorius visits the still alive but mending Henry Frankenstein to coax him into working with him on a new project to create new life. Henry wants none of it until Pretorius encounters the monster in the cemetery crypt hiding, befriends him and together they take Henry's woman hostage. Faced with that, Henry works with a passion to create a woman for the monster. The monster rapidly loses patience with the process. He wants the woman done now! Will she love him or hate him?!?
