Creepshow 2 tells three horrifying tales. The first story is about an older couple who run a general store with a great wooden Indian out front that the owner, Ray Spruce (George Kennedy) lovingly touches up every year with his paint brush. Ray is such a soft touch that he extends credit to his customers, much to the displeasure of his bookkeeping wife. Well thought of by the local Indians, they give Ray a bag of sliver and turquoise jewelry to hold on to until their tab is paid off at the store. When three punks come and rob the store and kill Ray and his wife, there’s hell to pay as Old Chief Wood'nhead comes alive to seek revenge!

The second story, The Raft, follows four teens driving up to the lake for a little swimming, smoking, and drinking. The barely make it out to the raft before they notice something floating on the water; something hungry. As each of them go down one by one, the thing on the water gets more radical and violent! Will any of them survive?

The final story, The Hitchhiker is about an woman on her way home from getting hammered by her gigolo and accidently pasting a hitchhiker alongside the road. She’s rich, but doesn’t want to face the consequences, figuring the guy to be dead! She drives off, dreaming of ways to explain the mess to her lawyer husband. She doesn’t figure on this hitchhiker being so persistent, however, as his wasted form hangs onto her car like a leach and all the while repeating, “Thanks for the ride, lady!”
