Dagon is one of the better horror films of 2001. An H.P. Lovecraft vision, the movie is about four people on a boat who have an accident when their boat slams against some rocks, and they have to go to this fishing village called Imboca to get help. That's when the world they know is turned upside down. The village is full of fish people who walk on two legs. Did I mention they are bent on capturing the hero, Paul Marsh? The fish creatures already captured his girlfriend Barbara, their sailing partner Vicki, and skinned Howard, the captain. The mothers are relentless!

To top it all off, Uxía, a really pretty babe that offers Paul shelter from the seeking fish men, has tentacles for legs. If that isn't enough excitement for Paul, he finds that Uxía wants to bang him like a drum! Paul wants to know what the story is here! He just came ashore for help; now he's being pursued by fish burgers on wheels and for what?!?! It didn't help seeing Howard's bloody skin hanging in one of the sheds he was trying to hide in, or poor Vicki's cut off leg. When he finds out the truth, he just can't handle it! This is Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, The Pit and the Pendulum) at his best!
