Dark Harvest 3 Scarecrow chronicles what happened when moon shiners way back in the 1920's kill an old witch woman and steal her land. The old witch had time to prepare before she got murdered. She made herself a scarecrow out of body parts and put a spell on it, that whenever blood hit it, it would come alive to do a little slicing and dicing! The scarecrow did a real good job too, taking out the moon shiners, with the machete or scythe being the weapons of choice. Fast forward to 1981. A group of friends that get together once a year to party drive to the land and cabin that the old woman owned. Brett James, one of the kids, is a direct descendant of the good old boy moon shiners. When he biffs his girlfriend in the nose and splashes blood on the scarecrow, the thing goes into action, shredding everybody's wheat while paying back Brett and his forefathers for their sins!
