Dolls is one of those moralistic horror movies. You see the set up ten or fifteen minutes into the film as five strangers and a little girl show up at the house of Gabriel & Hilary Hartwicke. Gabriel is a toymaker, which thrills the little girl (Judy). Anyway, a terrible storm has driven these people to go to this house for shelter. You start to see the personalities come out in these people and you know right away that some of them are going to get shredded by the toys, who get really angry very quickly, especially when any of the adults abuse the toys or little Judy. Picture crowds of toys with knives, pitchforks, screwdrivers, and other assorted weapons in their little hands! Judy's dad and stepmother don't really care for her. The two punk/Goth chicks that come cruising in with good natured Ralph are scanning the house for items to steal. Yes, I sense a lesson to be learned here. Ralph is an adult, but a child at heart, which is the only thing that saves his butt! All of them aren't sure who or what Gabriel and Hilary are, but in the end they'll wish they never would've entered that toy filled house.
