Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman is a pretty good effort at continuing the pain, agony, and eternal torment of Larry Talbot, aka The Wolfman. After the tragic events of The Wolfman, where Talbot was killed at the end of the movie, he was laid to rest in the Talbot crypt in a coffin full of wolf bane. Dead for a brief four years, he's suddenly awakened by grave robbers who are searching for the money in his pockets and the rings on his fingers. Unfortunately for the grave robbers, the full moon hits Talbot's face and regenerates him as the Wolf, where he promptly rips the gravedigger's throat out. The police find him in town and deliver him to a doctor who pursues Talbot through the whole film, especially after he finds out who Larry really is. Talbot has other plans, however, and those plans include finding the gypsy woman, Maleva for help. When he finds her, she takes him to Dr. Frankenstein, but when they get to Vasaria, they find out the Doctor is dead. Talbot is heartbroken. He wants to die and die badly so the curse can be lifted from him that turns him into a wolf. The good doctor that has been pursuing him from the beginning of the film offers to help by rebuilding Frankenstein’s machines to discharge Talbot’s life-force. The doctor gets taken in by Frankenstein's notes and decides to power up the monster (found in the castle in ice) instead. Big mistake! The monster goes berserk, the moon hits Talbot’s face, he changes to the wolf, and the biggest horror rumble in Hollywood takes place between the two in Frankenstein's castle!
