John Carpenter's Ghosts Of Mars is western meets sci-fi meets horror! A group of cops on a mission to pick up James "Desolation" Williams (Ice Cube) runs into more then they bargained for when they realize that Williams isn't the real bad guy here. The bad guys are possessed miners with entities that inhabit the depths of Mars. These spirits love to chop off heads and stick them on stakes, which they do to the team Commander (Grier). With overwhelming odds against them, the cops team up with Williams and his group of bad guys to fight off the evil that longs to kill or possess them! A lot of gunfights, head-chopping, hand to hand combat, bloody possessions, and one liners!
