This John Carpenter film is one of the greatest slashers ever made and features one of the most menacing horror villains ever: Michael Myers. With his white mask, blue cover-alls, and the ability to never die, he remains one of the creepiest and most deadly horror movie killers. On Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers stabs his older sister to death and is institutionalized. On October 30, 1978, he breaks free and returns to Haddonfield. While Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her friends discuss their Halloween plans, she sees someone following her, but her friends convince her that she’s seeing things. On All Hallows Eve , the girls are babysitting at separate houses and Michael stops by for a visit. But Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael’s psychiatrist, knows that he is evil and has followed him to Haddonfield. Will he be able to save the girls before Michael gets to them?
