The Best Horror Contact Lenses On The Web!

Horror Contact Lenses- No matter what mask you are wearing this Halloween for your party, the item that will set it off and make you look demonic is a set of lenses. Hollywood has used lenses for years for a truly scary effect in movies, particularly on zombie characters. If the eyes are the window to the soul, as the saying goes, then these horror contact lenses must show that somebody's soul is straight from the pit of hell!

The first thing you may want to know are the prices: How much can I expect to pay for a pair of lenses? The price, depending on where you get them and the quality will range from $60.00 a pair plus shipping to $100.00 to $200.00 a pair for the really cool, original, nothing-else-like-them lenses! It depends on how creepy you want to look, original, and be sure that nobody else at the Halloween party has anything like what you have! My recommendations are, hey, it's a once in a year event, go for it and buy the $100.00 range. The cheaper ones look, well, cheaper. With careful storage, you will have them next year for Halloween too.

Supplies

Keep Them Clean!
Contact Supplies

If you've never had horror contact lenses before, don't sweat it, Horror Stew is here to help you out on that one! Some needed supplies: paper towels, saline multi-solution from Wal-Mart (if you have a Wal-Mart or HATE Wal-Mart)...any store will do for saline multi-solution. This stuff cleans, disinfects, and stores your contacts, all in one! Lastly, get a contact case to store your contacts in.

Getting Prepared!

Ok, you have your horror contact lenses in front of you in your little packs they sent them in. Wash your hands always before handling your contacts. That keeps your finger oils and germs off the lenses, protecting your eyes. Dry off your hands with paper towels only! Don't use a soft fabric towel of any kind. You don't want fibers on your contacts or in your eye. It's painful! Don't touch anything but your contact case, contacts, saline bottle and eyelids.

Putting Them In!

This part calls for a little patience and speed because you want to be calm when the lens touches your eye and you don't want your contact to dry out while you are holding it. You'll need a little saline on the contact to comfortably mesh to your eye. You can see that the contact is curved one way. Take it out of the little case and center it on your index or middle finger, tilt your head back, and bring it close to your eye and lay it on there. Don't worry if it doesn't "set" right in your eye. You can maneuver it around when it's in your eye and seat it right. You'll know when it has "docked" on your eyeball. Your vision will become clear. If you've never worn contacts before, it may feel a little funny, or like you have a rock in your eye or something. That's when I grab the saline bottle and drop a few drops into my eye. That usually clears it out!

Heads Up!

Don't Do It!
Slept In His!

Always wash your hands before handling your horror contact lenses at anytime. Never share your lenses with anybody, because of the possibility of infections. Always clean, disinfect, and store them when you take them out. Above all, do not sleep in them! Get drunk in them, raise heck in them, make love in them, but do not ever sleep in them (with the exception of "breathable" contacts)!! Peeling contacts off your eye the next day is the most painful thing ever.
