Horror Legends

All of the horror legends that we know of today are a direct result of the old studios that had enough smarts to store their products even though they never knew the digital age would be in their future. Nowdays, we have film preservation societies that devote themselves to it. We thank them!

Early on in his career, Charlton Heston was a big actor in epics like Ben Hur and The Ten Commandments. Later, he entered the realm of horror legends by making The Omega Man, and Soylent Green. You'll find more horror legends below in the list like: Darren McGavin, Anthony Hopkins, Stephen King, Tobe Hooper, Robert Englund, as well as old classic horror legends like Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Sr. and Jr., and Jonathan Frid.

Horror legends from Tobe Hooper to Freddy, from The Night Stalker to Hannibal The Cannibal...we love them. We enjoy the grainy black and white films late at night as well as the modern color films showing new blood. Every film has it's place. The horror legends of the past were more mind horror then anything. These days, horror can mean more gore. That's ok! It's all relative and a tight slice of film catagory. If you are a fan of pure gore, try a different kind of thriller and same goes for the thriller lover. Don't box yourself in. In conclusion, give your favorite horror legends a chance!!
