Showtime produces has guest directors that read like alumni straight from the grave: Don Coscarelli, Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, Dagon, The Pit and the Pendulum), Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Dario Argento (Suspiria), Mick Garris (The Stand), Joe Dante (The Howling), John Landis (American Werewolf In London), John Carpenter (Halloween), William Malone, Lucky McKee, John McNaughton, and Takashi Miike (among others!). The horror series seems to be up in the air as far as Showtime hosting a third season, but we believe we heard
Lionsgate will be taking it over.
