We picked up this horror movie trivia book recently, and found out just how addicting it is to read, even when you don't know the answers to the trivia inside the book. Hey, I thought I knew my horror. Apparently, I don't know squat! The book has 17 chapters of horror categories like Vampires, frankensteins, creatures that turn into beasts, Ghosts, haunted houses, witches, warlocks, zombies, psychos, slashers, serial killers, mad doctors, weird scientists, demons, devils, evil women, manic monkeys, big bugs, teenage monsters and movies, television horror shows, and much more!

This horror movie trivia book has 255 packed pages of interesting tidbits like: "Who plays the vampire Lestat?" Well, that ones easy, Tom Cruise, right? Can you remember what city that Louis becomes a vampire in? Or what happens to Christian Slater's character (reporter) at the end of the movie? Those you may have to think about! The book also has some excellent background information on the actors that play the bad guys and other horror movie roles that perhaps you weren't aware that they played in. I was constantly amazed at other movies that Boris Karloff played in after Frankenstein. With that said, there are allot of old (and new!) horror movies covered in this book with tons of pictures.

There's quite a bit of "matching" games in this horror movie trivia book like matching the actor or actress to the film and the victim with the tormentor! There's allot of bios on your favorite horror directors, too, which was interesting to me. I enjoyed the one on Scanners director David Cronenberg. There are fun games like figuring out which horror slogan goes with what film. Everybody sees the trailers enough to know most of those! Funny how the lines become part of our language, like that "Boom Stick" line from Army Of Darkness! Love that one!! If you want a painless, enjoyable read as you're resting in your bed late at night, have a look at this book and get hooked!
