Manhater is an interesting "get even" film about a woman named Vonda Madding who can't see to find the right man in her life. All of the guys have hurt her in various selfish ways, but the worse offender is Bruce, her last man. He enjoyed tying Vonda up and cutting her up a little. Ahhh, love! Vonda's good and sympathetic friend Kelly has some kind and helpful words for her. She suggests that Vonda go with her to a place called Mystic Dreams, a new-age/witch/warlock type shop which specializes in aromatherapy and potions that will draw a demon from the depths of hell to do some killing for you. Of course, Vonda doesn't know about that last part. She pours out her soul to Eileen, the wise shop owner, who listens and encourages Vonda. Vonda, however, is so full of hatred that she can't seem to really move forward with her life. Eileen finally takes her counseling further by creating a potion that brings this familiar called "Enyo" from hell to shred Vonda's boyfriends to ribbons with her four inch long razor sharp nails. Enyo (played by porn star Ariel X), is connected to Vonda deeply; as Vonda starts to figure out the puzzle of why her past boyfriends are ending up dead, she finds out that stopping Enyo is a lot harder then she thought, even as the cops that are tailing her and eventually get on her side find out! There's plenty of T & A in this film and gore to keep your interest and a good storyline! Check out Manhater!
