Hey! Trex here, talking about the horror movie Mortuary! I just finished watching the movie. First I'd like to say for the record....I've read some reviews from everyday people that have been posted on some major web sites (I won't mention any company names...ahem, Amazon, IMDB, NetFlix) and they destroyed this movie. Common, people, horror movies aren't supposed to be Oscar winning flicks! Horror movies need to be watched with an expectant mind tuned to be sicked out, frightened, or worse. Some people watch these movies and rant with a whole list of nit-picking that take any sense of enjoyment away from viewing the horror film. I have to say here that I'm not impressed with their smart aleck, over the top, trying to be sarcastic/mean reviews. ! My rant is over!


The movie is about a family called the Doyle’s who, after losing the father to an untimely death, decide to move to California to run a funeral parlor. When they get there, they find that the place is a run down dump which has a major septic tank problem, but that's the least of their worries. There's something living in the drains; something that loves blood, dead or live blood and that something re-animates dead corpses! Jonathan Doyle, the son, gets a job in town at a small diner where he meets Liz and Grady, who tell him of the legend of Bobby Fowler and the clan Fowler, who've operated the funeral parlor in the past. It's said that Bobby is a crippled freak who the Fowler's secreted away. Without giving it all away, the main questions are: Is Bobby Fowler living among the graveyard/funeral home catacombs? What will kill the re-animated dead as well as the possessed living? Will Jonathan, his little sister Jamie, and his friends survive a re-animated uprising?

	Jonathan brings his new friends Liz and Grady to the basement embalming area to show them some corpses.
Leslie Doyle attempts her first run with embalming her new customers.
