Night Of The Living Dead was the original undead film that started the popular genre of stumbling, shuffling, face rotted corpses that hunger for human flesh. This movie IS creepy, despite its 1968 creation date.

The plot is simple, while visiting their father's grave out in the sticks; Johnny and Barbra see a man weaving around headstones coming toward them. While Johnny is making jokes about the man, Barbra is frightened and annoyed by Johnny's constant chant, "They're coming to get you Barbra!" Alas, it turns out to be true as the thing mauls her! Johnny realizes it too as he fights the thing off, only to get his head smashed on a tombstone as they fall. Barbra runs for it, finally making her way to a deserted farmhouse where she meets up with Ben, Harry, Helen, and Karen Cooper, and a couple named Tom and Judy. Together they fight each other and zombies as they spend a harrowing night of despair, unbelief, and unvarnished killing rage in the farmhouse, waiting for any kind of help from the authorities. This version is colorized but the movie is really black and white, only adding to the twilight creepiness!
