Night Of The Living Dorks can be best described as “Revenge Of The Nerds” meets “Night Of The Living Dead”! This film is a German film with dubbed American voices, and probably it’s only downfall. I’m not sure every bit of dialogue was dubbed word for word correctly. I only thought that because I turned on the English subtitles and they didn’t match what the actors were saying in American. That was great for more laughs, though, because the subtitles were sometimes over the top, dirty, and hilarious! The story is about three buds, Philip, Wurst, and Konrad, who could be students at any high school, anywhere. They are the typical teenagers, with racing hormones and bad skin. These three aren’t the best looking or most popular students, either. They have to endure the athletic Wolf and his crew of Rugby playing Neanderthals who always pick on them. But there’s a bright side for some, at least for Philip. Next door to him lives a Goth girl named Rebecca, who’s known Philip since they were primary students. She secretly loves Philip, but he’s only got eyes for the quickest lay that he can get. That’s too bad, because she’s so sweet! Rebecca invites Philip, Wurst, and Konrad to a secret ceremony in the cemetery with two of her gothic pals, complete with an urn of ashes, a small frozen chicken, and a few drops of Konrad’s blood. As they dump the ashes, they float over the nerds, coating them completely. They leave, disgusted, and promptly get into a fatal accident in their van when Wurst pays more attention to his super bong then the road! The rest of the film concentrates on the amazing powers of the three zombie teens from the minute they wake up in the morgue, to the zany, slapstick antics they perform throughout the remaining movie. It’s payback time!
