Resident Evil Extinction is the third movie in the highly successful trilogy starring the always, and never-caring-about-showing-her-trim-in-every-one-of-these-movies-and-we-don’t-mind-babe, Milla Jovovich! If the nudity isn’t enough for you, then her gun handling and knife slicing skills should satisfy even the slightest doubt in your mind. Did I mention that she’s pretty? After her comes the infected zombies that's inhabited every movie because of a virus that accidently got released. They are gory, mean, and ugly. In this third movie, a bunch of surface dwelling survivors who travel in a caravan try to survive on a day by day basis, skimming food and gas from small towns along their travels and avoiding the big cities. The virus has now encompassed the whole world, creating zombies all over the place. A survivor’s best friend is a shotgun for up-close work, or an assault rifle. Alice (Jovovich) prefers to use a nice crossbow from a distance when she cleans out an area she wants to inspect. She travels alone on her motorcycle while trying to avoid the “grid” that’s seeking her, thanks to the evil Umbrella Corp. They want her blood for testing because they think it will reverse the virus’s effects. She gets hooked up with the caravan and they all decide to head to Alaska where they believe that the virus hasn’t spread. Of course, things don’t work out like Alice planned when she decides to invade Umbrella Corp, buried deep within the Nevada desert. Lots of gory zombie killing plus, as an added bonus, zombie crows by the thousands! This film is directed by hit and miss director Russell Mulcahy, who also directed one of my favorite films, 1986’s Highlander!

A gas station attendant who's seen better days.

One of the caravan residents gets her face pecked off by zombie, flesh eating crows.

Alice gives the zombies hell with her assault shotgun.

An attacking zombie gets his brains blown out with a shotgun by a chick named "K-Mart" (love her!).

Alice shreds another zombie's wheat.

Killing more of the walking bags of pus.

Meanwhile, down in Umbrella's sanctuary, a soldier who thinks he's bad gets taught a lesson he'll never get the ability to learn from.

That's gotta hurt!
