Rise Blood Hunter stars the always cool and good looking Lucy Liu as a reporter with a good life, a mother, sister, and acclaim. When her computer geek friend Ethan stumbles onto a cryptic message that’s connected to a story that Sadie Blake (Liu) recently did, he gets dead really quick. On her way to a well earned vacation with her mother and sister, Sadie notices an obituary in the paper of a girl that’s part of the cryptic message. She was raped, gutted, and thrown into a dumpster. Quick as a flash, she goes to “Korea Town” to check on Ethan’s tip, only to run into Poe, a man who serves vampires. Soon, Sadie is captured by the vampires based on Poe’s information and is raped, sucked dry to die, and left for the cops to find. She wakes up in a morgue and has to kick her way out of the drawer. She spends the next few days realizing what she is; a vampire that has to feed on human blood in order to stay alive! Sadie tries to kill herself and finds out it doesn’t work. She’s scraped up off the pavement by Arturo, a vampire that shows her what she is and helps her to focus on what she wants. Revenge is what she eventually wants and she wants to exhaust it on Bishop, the man that took away her life! Armed with a crossbow and a bad attitude, she works on doing just that.
