Rocky Horror Picture Show Pictures

I wanted to post some Rocky Horror Picture Show pictures now that I watched the film and give a little commentary on the movie; what I thought, and how I felt when it was over. Over the years, I never wanted to see it because I already had pre-conceived ideas about the movie. Basically, I knew Rocky Horror was a cultural benchmark, but a benchmark for what?!?! The movie assaulted my senses and made me say, "Dear God!" more then once but I can honestly say that I liked the movie!

The movie is a musical that has numbers in it that will swim in your head long after like, Time Warp, Science Fiction/Double Feature, Sweet Transvestite, Hot Patootie, I'm Going Home and others. The music saves the film, otherwise I would've shut it off. The story is about a transvestite named Dr. Frank N. Furter (Tim Curry) who's an alien from Transsexual, Transylvania on a mission to Earth which isn't revealed. He's also a horny deviant, creating a monster named Rocky (Peter Hinwood) in his lab for his twisted desires. Ok, I have to say here for the record that I care not for horny alien transvestites but this film grabs you and that I can't explain! Tim Curry is great in the film as Dr Frank! He's got a really unique voice which has served him well for the many voice roles he's landed over the years. Below are pictures of the cast.

The first of the Rocky Horror Picture Show pictures is the Dammit, Janet musical number. After attending their friends wedding, Brad and Janet realize that they love each other enough to wed.

Driving during a rainy night, Brad and Janet get a flat and seek out the Frankenstein castle during the Over At The Frankenstein Place scene....

...where they first meet Riff-Raff and witness castle guests doing The Time Warp!

In this grouping of Rocky Horror Picture Show pictures Brad and Janet are ushered up to the lab, "to see what's on the slab" and see a gloating Dr. Frank and his new creation, Rocky. Dr. Frank sings I Can Make You A Man.

In The Lab	A New Birth	Making Him A Man

Eddie (MeatLoaf) comes out of the deep freeze to the delight of his lover Columbia to do his Hot Patootie spot, only to be murdered with an ice pick by an enraged, spurned Dr Frank-N-Furter! It seems that Rocky isn't responding to Dr Frank the way he wants him to, so he takes it out on Eddie!

Rocky comes around to Dr. Frank's charms and to celebrate, Dr. Frank in disguise as Brad, sleeps with Janet then in the disguise as Janet sleeps with Brad! Rocky gets tormented by Riff Raff and Magenta and escapes from the castle, only to have dogs let loose on him by the pair. Janet finds Rocky and sleeps with him after the Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me song.

More Rocky Horror Picture Show pictures show Dr. Everett Scott showing up to look for his nephew Eddie and singing Eddie's Teddy, eating a dinner that Dr. Frank-N-Furter has prepared, and then finding out that the food they've been eating IS Eddie!

A disgusted Janet runs from the table and Dr. Frank during the Planet, Schmanet, Janet musical number and ends chased back to the lab to be frozen along with Brad, Rocky, Columbia, and Dr. Scott into cold hard marble statues.

Dr. Frank unfreezes them after dressing them all in drag and they perform The Floor Show/Rose Tints My World song with Dr. Frank-N-Furter doing a back-up number........

of Don't Dream It, Be It!

In this last group of Rocky Horror Picture Show pictures, Dr. Frank gets killed by the out of disguise Riff Raff and Magenta, who show themselves as aliens on a mission that Dr. Frank is failing terribly at, but not before Dr. Frank-N-Furter belts out Wild And Untamed and I'm Going Home, a real tear jerker! The film ends with Riff Raff and Magenta blasting off in the castle back to Transsexual, Transylvania so they can have fun doing the Time Warp again. Brad, Janet, and Dr. Scott crawl along the ground outside, dazed, and barely believing they escaped these sexually deviant aliens.
