See No Evil is a WWE production...you know, World Wrestling Entertainment or something like that. It's about time they realized the capital gains in horror movie production. Low overhead, a lot of gore = big assed returns on previous financing! I'm surprised to see they took so long to get it done! Anyway, their protégé' Kane stars in this surprise sleeper as a psycho who's tormented throughout his childhood by his overbearing religious mother (shades of Carrie here) who locks him in a cage, feeds him porno, and lectures him on the sins of fallen women. Mom's also not shy about ripping out the eyeballs of chicks that Jacob (Kane) brings home. Of course, this explains Jacob's huge eyeball collection in a secret room in the motel he inhabits. God only knows how many jelly jars he had to finish off to get the jars empty for his eye jelly collection! As art imitates life, Jacob imitates mom. When Jacob's not tearing out eyes, he's using a nasty hook and chain on the teens, dragging them to him. In one scene, he shoves a cell phone down a chick's throat, choking her to death! I had to cheer at that little tidbit! It's a scene I've envisioned on the highway many, many times observing clueless cellphone users that almost cause deadly accidents becuase of their mindless ignorance. But that's a rant for another day! Anyway, a bunch of teenage convicts get the chance to reduce their sentence by cleaning this old motel. They find out that their cleaning days are numbered when a psychotic freak roams the motel at will, tearing up arrogant teenagers with pleasure. They'll get the reduced sentence if they survive, but that's highly unlikely!
