The Crow Boxed Set has three titles on it, but I'm reviewing the first movie which I believe, bar none, is the absolute best movie of all of the later ones to come. The film starts out as a tragedy with rocker Eric Draven and his woman Shelly getting murdered at the hands of Top Dollar's henchmen because they won't vacate the building they are living in. Of course (bad guys take note of this), that was a huge mistake. When evil screws with good, good will ultimately come out on top, no matter how bad evil thinks it is. It may take a matter of time; in this case, it takes Eric Draven a year before he gets resurrected by an unearthly crow. What's the mission of a newly born Eric Draven, you ask? Well, only to wipe out Top Dollar and his greasy, scummy, killing, drug taking, hard driving, alcohol swilling crew!
