The Curse Of The Werewolf is one of the best werewolf films next to Universal's The Wolf Man. This Hammer production has a great story and one of the best lead actors around (Oliver Reed-Gladiator's Proximo 2000). A small child is born in Spain to a mute woman who's been raped by a convict. She's found by a baron who takes her in, nursing her during her childbirth. When she dies after the baby is born, Baron Don Alfredo Corledo and his servant Teresa raise the child with as much love that they can bestow on the boy, even after strange animal deaths start to happen in the country. They soon figure out who's doing the killing after digging a lead bullet out of little Leon's body. The baron bars up the boy’s windows and years pass until Leon is an adult. He leaves home to find a job at a winery, only to start killing people. They don't stand a chance with his adult werewolf strength! A new love can save him, but can she save him in time? Soon, the baron breaks out the silver bullets because time is running out-sorry PETA!
