The Descent Trailer And Pictures.

If you can get a chance to see the movie The Descent please do so! After watching it myself all can say is...wow! This is one great horror movie that never lets up on the assault on your mind. The story starts out kind of slow with a group of fun, risk taking, no-holds-barred women who tackle a common cave system called Boreham Caverns in North Carolina. It's a fun get together for all of them since Sarah's accident a year earlier in which her husband and daughter died tragically. When the girls run into trouble when a small tunnel collapses, they find out that leader Juno has taken them to an unknown cave because she thought it was a better challenge! They find out they aren't even in Boreham Caverns! They start to work on finding their way out when cannibalistic, blind cave dwellers that appear to be human (at first glance) start to stalk them. I won't give too much away here, but the fight scenes between the girls and the creatures are some of the bloodiest survival tactics I've ever seen! It's dog eat dog and the women kick ass using bones, small climbing hammers, knives, bare-knuckles, teeth, and just about anything they find. They don't want to die because they've seen what these things can do. The creatures like to start with soft tissues of the underbelly. You won't go wrong with this movie! Nightmare quality!
