In this R-rated (hello T&A!) Frankenstein saga, Victor Frankenstein is played by Ralph Bates instead of Peter Cushing (crud!). The Dr. is, as usual, a tormented soul obsessed by his work to create a monster from dead body parts, totally ignoring the creamy white body parts of the living babes right beside him. What's wrong with this picture? There's plenty of dissection with the good Dr. barely getting a drop of blood on his frilly white blouse with the french cuffs. An interesting movie with another interesting tidbit: The guy who plays the monster in this film, David Prowse is the same gent who played Darth Vader in the first three Star Wars movies, so that made him Grand Moff Tarkin's boss, played by Peter Cushing who usually plays Dr. Frankenstein in these Hammer Films. How's that for connecting the dots?
