I could've sworn that back in The Mummy's Ghost that Kharis grabbed the reincarnated Ananka and sank in the swamp in the Northeast of the United States?!?! It now appears that the movie The Mummy's Curse has the mummy and his princess rising from a swamp down south where there are Cajun people! Alrighty then! Well, no new ground was broke in this movie. It follows the same basic setup: a priest and his tanna leafs that make Kharis alive must bring them back to Egypt to sleep in the sand forever. Throw in some superstitious Cajuns frightened over recent murders as well as the mummy that "dances with the devil" and you have the movie in a nutshell. The mummy performs his standard shuffle with his bum leg, lifts up the princess Ananka with his bum arm, and chokes the living daylights out of anybody that gets in his way of pursuing her. The great salvation of the movie is the master make-up dude Jack P. Pierce, who worked on Frankenstein as well as so many other Universal greats!

	Kharis sleeps the deep sleep but soon is awakened for devious deeds.
Ananka rises from the swamp that Kharis dragged her into.
	Cajun Joe runs into the mummy in the swamp and tries to shoot him down.......
.......and gets choked to death for his troubles!
