Urban Legends Bloody Mary reminded me of a movie called Ghost Story that came out in 1981. This movie has the same sort of storyline, but it doesn’t diminish it at all. Samantha and David are a brother and sister who have teamed up to find out why students at their high school are dying. One dude dies on a tanning bed, fried to a crisp. Another guy pisses on a hot fence and gets his weenie cooked. A girl tears her face off because spiders are living under her skin. Another kid gets his throat slashed to ribbons. Oh yeah, somebody’s working overtime in this movie! Now Samantha, who’s the editor of her school newspaper, starts to have flashbacks about Mary Banner and how she might have died all those years ago. Soon, she starts to piece together some things, but will it be at the expense of her young life? This is a good horror/ghost story that kept me interested!
