Broadway Nightmare

by Talier Nickeles
(Butte, Mt)

My friends house is like any other in our neighborhood; a large, victorian home that was built in the late 1890's. But there's a twist. A woman sometime in 1912 was having an affair with her husband with another man. One night the woman's husband came home early. Though this came as a surprise to her, she welcomed him in happily to a warm meal and newspaper at the fire place. The woman had known she'd made plans with her 'friend', but ignored it anyways and decided to take a nap. about 15 minutes after she had fallen a sleep she heard a gun shot. She immediately woke up to see her lover dead on her and her husband's front porch. She killed herself when her husband went to work the next day. Also, the man who was now all alone sold the house to a couple who had two kids and also had a grandmother living with them when the house started to begin to seem eery. But it wasnt until the couples daughter, son, and mother's mom died of some disease (the grandmother died of old age) did the couple move. And to this day other ghosts of the past have been seen, playing with toys, rockings on the porch swing and walking all through the house..
