"CAPTAIN KRONOS: VAMPIRE HUNTER" (1974)

This British-made 70's vampire film was produced and directed by some of the same people who were behind the popular 1960's British TV series, "The Avengers". This movie, a costumed Hammer horror film, is set in a small village in the remote English countryside. After several young maidens have been found dead- their beautiful faces horribly aged, the local doctor calls on his Army friend and famed vampire hunter, Captain Kronos, an expert swordsman, formerly of the King's Imperial Guard. The murders are the work of a unique type of vampire, who drains its victms not of blood, but of their youth! |
