Hope somebody can help.....

Saw a flick back in 1977 about a girl who drove a black Camaro. She bought a key-chain with a little idol on it from a flea market then proceeded to get run off the road and turned upside down by some guys as she was driving. She ended up in a hospital, but the keychain drove the Camaro around hunting down the guys that caused the wreck and killing them one-by-one. Every time the Camaro would ride around with no driver the girl's eyes would glow ruby red. I can't remember the name of the movie. Any info would be much appreciated.
