From what I have read and learned of Edgar Allan Poe it seems to be he either
A. Drank Himself to death and is a possibility he had hallucinations to cause him to go mad.
Or
B. Was possibly Bi-Polar and since alcohol is a suppressant (I think that's the word...like it brings you down. like adderal...something like that) Made him more depressed (and) caused him to drink more and died from consumption
Btw,
I'm just a highschooler doing a project on my favorite poet. So not a professional and just a possible theory, lol. Well, however he died; he was an amazing author and poet.
