The Death of POE

I have study Poe for two years now and looking at his storys and poems some of them are like a timeline of his life... after his beloved wife had died of TB, just like his mother and brother he lost all hope. He had always had a horible life and grew up in poverty and hatred of his adopted father, but when the most important three people in his life that always gave him a slight bit of hope had all passed on he just couldnt bare the life anymore. He became like his adopted father and was rarley ever sober. He drank so much because he had nothing to live for...he knew that doing this extensive drinking would lead to kidney failure and eventualy lead him to die but he bacicaly comited a slow indirect suicide by doing this. I do believe that he had drank so much to eventualy kill himself so he would no longer have to suffer and be with his mother, brother, and wife(cousin).
