The Exorcist

by Jacq Maitre
(Boone, NC)

I remember the first time I saw this movie - It didn't scare me as much as it should have because I knew all the movie magic behind it (The 360 head spin, the pea soup, etc.) But I was still horrified by the thought of a little girl around my age (at the time) being possessed by the devil.

The SCARIEST Movie EVER Created
by: AnaFL

This movie is THE classic horror movie because no other movie after this has even come close to being this scary. I've seen it a number of times and it scares the lights out of me every time! The special effects makeup and contact lenses used on Linda Blair, the voiceovers, the creepy atmosphere in her bedroom are unbelievably frightening.

Another reason I liked this movie so much is because it truly a delivers a powerful message. Although the devil wreaked a lot of havoc throughout the movie, in the end Jesus Christ won and the girl was freed of her possession. The Big Guy upstairs will ALWAYS get His way!

This movie gets a two thumbs up for absolutely horrifying!
