Upcoming Horror Movie: Dead Silence

A great upcoming horror movie to be released June 26th, 2007 on DVD & HD DVD is the excellent horror flick, Dead Silence! In the tradition of the supernatural Ghost Story (1981) and the creepiness of puppets, much like Magic (1978), Dead Silence tells the horrifying revenge tale of Mary Shaw, a simple entertainer; a ventriloquist, who gets murdered by the townspeople of Ravens Fair. Fast forwarding to the future finds Jamie and Lisa Ashen living in the big city and expecting a baby. They are in love; a love that could last forever if not for the suitcase size package that arrives at their apartment door with no return address. Upon opening it, they see a ventriloquist dummy in there by the name of Billy. Jamie steps out for some Asian food and when he gets back, finds Lisa brutally murdered with her tongue torn out! This sets into effect a mystery that must be solved by Jamie because he is the chief suspect of Lisa's murder by the tired and suspicious Det. Jim Lipton (played well by Donnie Wahlberg!). There's nothing for Jamie to do but take a trip back home to find the answers because all he has is a hunch, and a childhood poem about Mary Shaw in his head!
