What's the name?

by Toni Reeves
(Rome, Ga)

In the early 70s, I saw a made for tv movie. The family was going somewhere like a farm; they passed a barn with a pentagram on it, and the mom was doing a commercial on the porch, singing something was "sweet as sugar icing". When they ran the commercial, there were red eyes in the window behind her. I want that movie!

SOMETHING EVIL
by: ROGER LEESE

The movie about the family moving to the country where a barn has a design painted on it is the made-for-television film "Something Evil" that was directed by a young Steven Spielberg a few years before being chosen to direct his blockbuster "Jaws". The film stars Sandy Dennnis, the Academy Award-winning actress from "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?", and Darren McGavin, who played Kolshack on TV's "The Night Stalker" series. Their son, who becomes possessed by something evil, was played by Johnny Whittaker of the "Family Affair" series. I recently watched this film again on U-tube.
